  • After your payment, your reservation is confirmed. The second payment must be received 9 weeks before arrival.
  • The deposit will be transferred back to your bank account within 5 working days after departure, minus any damage and consumption of water and electricity (if applicable).
  • In the week before arrival you will receive the directions and arrival details from us. – Our general terms and conditions, including the cancellation conditions, are available upon request.
  • We offer cots (with bedding) for babies and children up to 4 years old and high chairs for hire at a small fee.
  • We are available for your questions and in case of calamities
  • Water and electricity are expensive on Curaçao and can be high due to the frequent use of air conditioners. Therefore, night rates are lower with us, but exclusive of water and electricity usage.
  • The average usage varies per location
  • The average water usage with two guests per week is 2 M3: € 18
  • The average electricity usage with two guests per week is 140 KwH € 56
  • The local currency is the Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG), also known as Naf.
  • You can use your debit or credit card to pay anywhere.
  • Make sure your card is set up for worldwide coverage.
  • Cash euros are not accepted.
  • Cash US dollars are accepted. The fixed rate is 1.75.
  • We advise to withdraw some local guilders upon arrival. For example, a sunbed on a beach cannot be paid with a debit card.
  • There are ATMs at the airport, all supermarkets and banks.
  • In most locations there are 110 volt outlets and 220V outlets with European contacts. The current at each location is indicated on our website.
  • In case there is only 220V we have adapters for you to use.
  • The water from the tap is safe to drink and tasteful.
  • At the supermarket you can ask them to pack your groceries at the counter and place them in your car. The customary tip for this fine service is a few local guilders.
  • Mosquitoes: unfortunately, they can be there! At the local supermarkets, cans of the brand “Off” which work very well, can be purchased.
  • If you have an allergic reaction, cortisone creams (available at local pharmacies – here called botika -) work very well.
  • Vaccinations are not necessary for a trip to Curaçao.
  • We highly recommend to rent a car. No matter where you stay on the island.
  • Taxis are expensive
  • Public transport does not reach Resorts
